Appreciation of Understanding Aerodynamics

I am studying the aerodynamics of flight for research for my science-fiction fantasy novel, so when I saw a small plane flying over the public library I had my primal fear of making sure it stayed in the sky rounded off by an appreciation and wonder of understanding something amazing.  It was magical because often I don’t appreciate.  I am usually feeling fear about something.  Since July of this year, it's been, I understand this.

Art Influencing Art

Today I was thinking about the cartoon show _Capitol Critters_ a cartoon show from the 1990s and wondering how it is influencing my novel.  The Concept fascinated me as an 8 year old. Though, I agree with Wikipedia under the section “Reception,” that the art needed to be improved to capture a target audience.  As a kid I had a feeling the show wasn’t doing well, but was angered that it was canceled.  Even today in the back of my mind I’ll say, Whatever happened to that cartoon show with the mice and rats living in the White House?

Writers--Life Tip:

If you are looking for a scene you’ve written and can’t find the scene pretend it doesn’t exist and re-write the scene.  You will find the scene later and have more material to work with.

Brief Review of

In the memoir, _The Sound of a Wild Snail Eating_ by Elizabeth Tova Bailey I learned as much of the Writer as I did the snail.  It’s both an enjoyable and scientific read.  I was happy to learn about the fascinating world of snails.  Well written.
